If I Could Fly…

Hello! I’m so happy I’m finally working on my website again. Right now my art gallery doesn’t work as I’m still in the process of trying to sort it. I’ve really been into web pages lately since I got my new job. I have graduated school since my last post just this year (Winter 2011) and obtained a full time job as a web designer. I’m a little embarrassed to say that even though I am a web designer I didn’t make this layout you see here… I just edited it to fit my style and added some nice fonts ^^ It really is a lovely theme, the original maker is in the copyright section if you are curious. I have been working on a little side project of mine in which I did manage to make my own Joomla template out if, but that is for a later date! But since I didn’t really keep the “logo” a secret here it is:

Well, anyone who’s tried making a custom template from bottom up for a content management system knows how much a pain in the rear end it can be.

As far as FFXI goes, it’s been going. I have gained a lot of new friends and have been playing much, much, much more than my previous post! I also now play bard more than anything. My new friends even got me a Daurdabla! I can now cast 3 songs yay! I thought I’d never get anything like that so I never “wanted” it, but I am so glad that my friends thought I deserved it. Things like that make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, yup yup. I’m currently really focused on crafting and Voidwalk NMs though!! I’ve also been on Justin.tv live streaming sometimes when I play. I’ll be on most evenings, certain days of the week most likely.

So it took me quite a bit of time what I really wanted to do with my blog, and then I realized that it was my blog. And now I don’t care! MUAHAHA! So you will most likely find here a whole lot of rambling and complaining but meh, read it or leave it dearie!

Hold up, wait. That sounds like every other blog on the internet… NOOOOOO!! That’s not what I’m trying to accomplish here! Well anyway, this is a place for me to store my drawings and other things I don’t want to lose just in-case I accidentally format my entire secondary hard drive again. (Which really happened to me a few months ago *yay for backups, and now secondary backups*).

To-Do List:

• FFXI: Get Synergy, Alchemy, Goldsmithing skills to max level
• Save $5,000 for a new car (95% there!)
• Buy the dang car
• Watch more My Little Pony with friends
• Learn more newer Web Development stuff so I’m not stuck in the early 2000′s
• Find a new anime to watch every week since last episode of Mirai Nikki is this coming Monday

Wow, you know after making this list I sure do realize how straight my priorities are! Right on target ;D hehehehe

Hey~ I know this website sucks, and you are probably just gonna click the back button once you see how often I update. However, I’m trying to re-arrange the site so I hope you will visit here again! I’m not really sure what to add. I want to add a music rotation and stuff but I just don’t know if I can keep that going as far as updates go. Also trying to re-do my drawings to make them a little more user friendly…

Also, most of the old post’s images are broken now, because I had to reset the stupid side due to some error after trying to get Highslide working with Nextgen gallery (WordPress plugins) and perma-broke my links. -.-

As far as my personal life goes, I’m going to school still. I’m taking Digital Graphics, and that’s why I’ve been interested in my website lately, because I’ll have to make one for my final~! And what better way to improve on an existing website to make it for a grade xD! I plan on making an A in this class like I have for the past 3 classes I have taken. I’m usually not an “A” student, but I do try hard!

Hello! Happy easter everyone. Nothing much at all going on. Actually, for easter my boyfriend got me a big easter basket with a cute chick, a bunny, and some nail polish

I have improved tremendously sense I have studied realism rather than relying on anime. It has changed my entire perspective on art and drawing as I know it. While I’ll still draw anime every once in a while, I now understand that realism is much more rewarding! If anyone is an anime artist, i encourage you to start realism. The book that really is helping me right now is one that my professor suggested: Bridgmans Complete Guide to Drawing Life. It’s a great book that focuses on human anatomy head to toe.

Ok, more like sitting AFK most of the time. What can I say, this semester of school is kicking my ass.

Also, last month or so I made this Panty and Stocking music video. Not the best editing but it is my first video I have actually made in quite a while. I can’t believe it almost has 20,000 views o.O

Those two works are all I’ve uploaded lately… Oh well! I have been playing Final Fantasy XI again while Final Fantasy XIV gets more updates. I’ve been having fun with Abyssea and the new things, I’ve got my Bard and Red Mage to level 90! Now I just need to get my Monk, Samurai, Summoner, and Thief to level 90! >3<

Then I have also been spending time with my new boyfriend Scott, have lots of fun with him!! I am actually on his laptop now. I forgot how nice WordPress is, I needed a lot of updates for it! You don’t have to install anything on your computer to use it, so you can update from anywhere. Sometimes I ever wonder how I made websites the old way in notepad with raw HTML. Well, I hope people still visit here at least.

HAAA! I think my art block is finally over!!

I finally produced something I liked on paper! And not a color of something I previously drew, nope. This is directly from my MIND!! Now this is such a big deal to me because I started new medication and this means it’s working. For a while all I would want to do is lay around and do nothing, but I got tired of it and went to the doctor. Now I actually feel like staying up and doing things like drawing or playing my dusty game consoles.

Now, to pinch my butt and get working on some real work. Oh, and Realmscon.

I have so much to do right now, but I just don’t feel like doing any of it. Spending a lot of time with my new boyfriend, and if I am not with him I am thinking about him. I have finished the dragon and the girl in the picture I was drawing, now I just need to think up (and get the motivation) to make a background… I also need to figure out what the hell I am going to do to print them out. I just need to make 6 more pages of shrinky dink keychains, If I can finish those they will be completely off my chest. I also have to decide what to do for the bookmarks I am going to make as well. And for those out of the loop, I am going to Realmscon, an anime convention in Corpus Christi, Texas. I am going to have my own Artist’s Alley table…

So I bought myself this cute journal at Barnes and Noble. It has birdies on it, super cute. I started writing in it to help with my problem of worrying so much (which is the root of all my relationship problems apparently). It has done wonders… It’s like my own form of therapy! lol I tell Robert “I am not crazy, I just take crazy medicine… really” muahaha~! And my dog is looking up at me with his big beady eyes, asking me to mention him in whatever I am typing at the moment. He’s so cute, and a little turd too.

I’m not crazy, really.

If it’s one word that has came up a lot over the past month, that would be the word “distraction”.

You know that picture from last update that I would hoped to have finished by the weekend? Well it’s the weekend after. I remember popping these things out like a factory and now I can’t even finish one in three weeks. Well, there’s an explanation there. I’m adding way more detail than I usually do to my works lately to improve. An eye for an eye.

Also, I have fixed some broken images around the site and fixed one of the images in my gallery section (I spelled Traditional like Tradional!) and I’ve updated the about me page with more information (click the “more information” link under my main profile to see more about me!), I need something more than just my gallery, I haven’t had any good ideas lately though…

Well, no updates as far as the actual website goes. I haven’t updated anything on the website sense my last post because I’ve been busy with other things. I am thinking about dropping the forums too, and R2beat… Ohhh so confused..

I hope to get it done by next weekend :3 It will be a print for realmscon.

I am also hoping to make more keychains tomorrow. Two new designs! Dragon and Puppy. I have not finished coloring puppy… But I’ll get around to it tomorrow hopefully.
